Hi! 👋 I'm Kelly, the person behind People Places Prosperity Advisory Group.

What’s with the name? The name is what I do:

People: I support the entrepreneurial people and organizations in your community, helping them access capital and grow businesses that strengthen the local economy.
Places: I help communities build economic strategy that is grounded in place. I help understand what makes your community special, and how can we leverage that to build a thriving place that attracts visitors and investment.
Prosperity: When we support people and places, prosperity follows in your community and across the region.

Deciding where to go: Your economic development road map

Economic development can feel a bit like a black hole. You know that you want to build a strong, thriving community, but it’s hard to know where to start. I can help you develop a community strategy that is rooted in reality by:

- Mapping community assets: What do you already have to work with?
- Aligning on a strategy and vision: What do people want the future to look like?
- Documenting a road map that moves you from strategy to implementation.

Making the call: Decisions without a crystal ball

Time, energy, and money are limited resources, so every investment needs to count.

I don’t have a crystal ball (I'm working on it), but I can help you understand the full picture of a new initiative through:

Throughourly reseached business cases and business plans to test if an idea makes sense for your community or organization.
Financial projections and scenario analysis translated into plain language financial stories.

These tools will help you understand the potential costs and benefits of new initiatives, and provide decision makers with the information they need.

Keeping the wheels on the bus: Monitoring, follow through, and capacity support

Strategy and good decision making are essential, but you also need to keep the wheels on the bus. I can help:

- Set up systems, policies, and processes to monitor your performance against your goals.
- Measure and assess performance.
- Add hands-on capacity to help with funding applications, reporting, or whatever else you need a bit of extra help with!

Need extra capacity? Let's talk about what a few hours a month could do.
